Here's a glimpse into two ground-breaking projects that showcase our dedication to sustainability:   ## **Euro 5 Diesel Vehicle Transition: A Milestone in Emission Reduction** In September, Interwaste proudly introduced the first batch of Euro 5 Diesel vehicles to our fleet, setting a precedent in South Africa's waste management industry. These vehicles represent a significant leap forward in our commitment to reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency. Key features of this transition include: - Advanced Technology: Our Euro 5 Diesel vehicles incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as improved aerodynamics, drive train efficacy, and SCR/Ad Blue. These advancements result in lower emissions and improved fuel economy. - Emission Reduction: Through the integration of SCR/Ad Blue technology, we have achieved a remarkable reduction in Nitrogen (NOx) and Ammonia (NH3) emissions. This innovative vehicle is designed for specific requirements: - Silent Operation: The electric vehicle operates silently, making it ideal for security checkpoints and client interactions without noise disturbances. - Environmental Friendliness: Our electric vehicle aligns with our commitment to environmentally friendly practices while delivering the same level of performance and reliability as our traditional vehicles.
